Arthur's seat and St. Giles Cathedral

My first week is ower now and I have already experienced and learned so many beautiful things in this short time. This weekend I spent with Evi.

We met on Saturday at about 10:00 to explore the city. At the beginning we went a little bit shopping, without buying anything. For lunch we went to the Elephant House. Because we both like to read we went in the afternoon to a bookshop and spent there about two houers. With our new books we made ourselves confortable on a bench in the Princes street Gardens and read there for a while. Unfortunately it began to rain so we had to go somewhere else. In the bookshop was also a little cafe with some armchairs, so went back and read there again. At about 6:00 we went to a All-you-can-eat restaurant in the city. The Indian, chinese, thai, british, mexican and italian food was really nice.

Today on Sunday we met again at about 10:00 to go to the Arthur's seat. This time Evi brought a friend from Poland with her. She was really friendly and I got on well with her. On the way we also saw the Holyrood Palace but at the moment the queen is there so we had not the chance to have a closer look at it. After about one hour we reached the summit. The view was extreamly beautiful but it was also really windy. Suddenly it began to rain again so we went down. At a small lake we made a Little Picknick. At the afternoon I went alone to the St. Giles Cathedral. Also really nice to look at.
